Leading regional foodservice distributor is currently in search of an experienced Purchasing / Marketing Coordinator to join its team within one of its facilities in the metro Washington, DC market.
The ideal candidate for this position will have 3-5 years of marketing experience within a foodservice distribution facility. Experience in purchasing will be a plus, as there will be involvement with sheltered rebates, accruals, billbacks and supplier agreements. Excellent organizational skills are an absolute must.
The Purchasing / Marketing Coordinator will provide support to the sales team, including implementation of promotional programs, creation of flyers and brochures, preparation for food shows and other marketing events, oversight of product catalog and other special projects as assigned.
